LCT provides cloud API for spatial VR audio: spatial audio with recreated spatial cues. Music providers can process their music inventory to spatial VR audio by calling our API directly. Consumers can submit their stereo music to our portal to receive spatial VR audio in real time as well. For business partners which need to process large amounts of data, such as radio/TV stations, podcast, and virtual concert, LCT can provide solutions with free trial periods.

Automobiles
Spatial VR audio (also called 3D Soundstage™) is the next generation of sound system in automobiles. LCT invented technology that can convert mono and stereo sound to spatial audio with the cues of sound source directions using in-car loudspeakers. The sound effect is the same as you can hear from our spatial VR audio demo but you will not need to wear a headset.
LCT provides the solution and service to help manufacturers implement spatial VR audio in automobiles. In most cases, the conversion does not need additional hardware. It just needs to insert LCT software into the existing automobile sound system. We will optimize the spatial sound effect based on the locations of the loudspeakers in the car. The in-car spatial VR audio can be as exciting as listening to 3D audio in a movie theater.

Smartphones and Other Consumer Electronic Devices
The 3D Soundstage™ library can convert mono and stereo audio to spatial VR audio in any consumer electronic device. The implementation is just to insert a software module to the device. The devices include smartphone, smart speaker, soundbar, TV, and any device with audio output. While 5.1, 7.1 and 9.1 standards need to transmit multi-channels, we convert stereo to spatial audio directly. Device manufacturers can save the costs of licensing the standards for surround sound.

Free Reference Hardware Design
Hardware design, including schematics design and part selection, is critical to product development. It also requires a lot of experience and time to achieve a high-quality design. Since LCT has been in the business for more than 10 years, it has a large collections of reference design for IoT, sound system, array microphones, conference phones, speaker phones, earphones, and DSP devices. In order to help our customers to save time and budget and to ensure the success of their products, LCT provides free reference design for popular MCU, microphone, and audio DSP chips and systems. Furthermore, LCT will provide consultancy service to help our customers for a quick hardware design.
Other AI/ML/NLP/Voice ID Project Examples
LCT develops artificial intelligence, machine learning, natural language processing, machine translation, voice ID and biometrics solutions for the US government and commercial companies. Here are some examples of successfully developed and delivered solutions:
Trust AI addresses current challenges in AI security where a simple change to an object or image, known as an adversarial attack, can lead to misclassification. In a traffic-signs-with-stickers video experiment for automatic driving, LCT achieved a recognition accuracy of 99.36 %.
LCT offers voice ID and voice biometrics turnkey systems, solutions, and software (including speaker identification, speaker verification, and keyword detection) for our customers. In a smartphone unlock app developed for the US government, our solution achieved an equal error rate (EER) of 0.0000% on a large database evaluation. The app is language independent and only needs one phrase for training. The training time is less than one second on smartphone. In a text-independent speaker ID solution, we also achieved a near perfect EER. We provide both smartphone app and cloud API solutions.
LCT offers the software and service to set up custom machine translation systems in any language. LCT delivered a custom machine translation system to the US government that achieved 1.8% and 8.3% sentence error rates (SER) for two foreign languages, respectively. For comparison, a large commercial translator received 41.0% and 26.3% SER on the same tasks. The system was installed in government servers for daily operations.
LCT developed a solution for real-time analysis and fusion of information from thermal and visual videos of the face for passive characterization of stress, anxiety, uncertainty and fatigue. Our solution achieved 91% and 95% accuracy for anxiety and fatigue detection in a database evaluation.
LCT designed and developed an advanced conference phone with array of eight microphones plus four loudspeakers to support large conference rooms. The VoiceFocus™ conference phone won the International CES Innovations Award.
