Customer: Internal Revenue Service
The IRS selected and ordered a large volume of the CrispMic to support their office use. CrispMic is a far-field microphone that supports videoconferencing, large conference rooms, smart speakers, IoT, voice control, and voice separation.

LCT developed and delivered an active voice authentication system for voice unlock and monitor. The system is language independent, noise robust, and only needs one uttered voice phrase for enrollment. The system achieved 0.00% error rate in a 100-user evaluation.

Commercialization: Automatic customer identification from voice for banks, healthcare providers, call centers, financial institutions, etc. Voiceprint in access control for smartphones and other mobile devices.

LCT developed a robust and trustworthy AI system named Trust AI and validated it with real object recognition as shown in the video. LCT’s trust AI technology achieved a stop sign recognition accuracy of 99.36 % to counter an adversarial AI attack, where all stop signs are covered with stickers.

Commercialization: Real-time video detection and recognition tasks such as in automatic driving.

LCT developed and delivered a custom machine translation system that achieved 1.8% and 8.3% sentence error rates (SER) for two languages. On the same task, a commercial translator got 41.0% and 26.3% SER.

Commercialization: Custom machine translation system for any application which needs very low translation error rates.

LCT developed and delivered a firefighter and first responder communication system named MaskPhone which can significantly reduce background noise in the communication channel when a user wears a facemask and other PPE.

Commercialization: The technology can be applied to any communication system which will be used in extremely noisy and hazardous environments.

LCT is developing the next generation of AI-based headsets that enhances human hearing capability, situational awareness, and hearing protection to replace existing headsets. The red and black waveforms show the noise cancellation result with and without active noise cancellation (ANC). The headset has many new AI-based features.

LCT designed and delivered a medical recorder for recording a patient’s medical record by voice in noisy combat environments. The recorder has a 4-microphone array, noise reduction, and noise cancellation.

Commercialization: Recording device for medical, legal, warehouses, and many other applications in noisy environments.
